 | MOOLCHI'S WANDERING SOUL Nov 20, 2006 |
After the death of his girlfriend Kanghee, Moolchi sorta loses direction, wandering the streets looking for trouble, even as his body continues to age accelerate towards an early death each time he uses his powers. In a ganglord's den, he runs into a young high school girl whose soul is similarly lost. Meanwhile, the rejected Jong-E continues to stand motionless in a playground until Moolchi's father arrives looking for his son. He's not the only one looking, as a guy from Moolchi's newly remembered childhood transfers to the school with the ability to mentally control anyone he wants to in an effort to find Moolchi.
This series has progressed a lot from the nerdy guy receives beautiful android in the mail plot device and is rapidly evolving into an intriguing character study. You really feel Moolchi's pain, even if the background story isn't completely making sense right now. The slutty girl he meets that uses her body to make her way through her hard life illustrates the fact of how easy it is to get lost in this world. Youjung Lee's artwork, while a bit repetitive, is nonetheless clean and pretty. Maybe a bit TOO clean, which gives an antiseptic coldness. A good book. | | | Write your own review about 0/6 (Zero/Six) Vol. 4
