God factor  May 10, 2007
Victorya has a great way of keeping God at the top of the equation...so many people today miss the most important thing. Thank you Victorya.

Very inspirational  Jan 25, 2007
I really enjoy this book. It has a few very good points , especially she wrote about "Divine Intervention" . It reminds me that we should not left GOD out of the picture.
I think it is a worthwhile reading

No different than mainstream dating books...  Jan 20, 2007
I saw Ms. Rogers on CBNs Living The Life and she was talking about making husband quality lists. Why would anyone who puts their faith in the Lord need to make a list - this would just affirm that we don't trust him to bring us nothing less than his best. Who are we in our humanness to know better than him? She also mentions that she went out on over a hundred blind dates before meeting her husband - why? If we put our trust in the Lord to know who, when and where we will find our mates, why do we need to orchestrate a search for the perfect man? I disagree with Ms. Rogers approach to dating. Read Undressed by Jason Illian or Boy Meets Girl by Joshua Harris instead.

Shallow & Meaningless  Jul 21, 2006
The question I must ask after reading the reviews posted is how shallow do we want our relationships to be? Our culture is already obsessed with unhealthy body image and unattainable goals of beauty, why are christians buying into this? Encouraging relationships built on outward appearances encourages shallow, meaningless relationships. Finding a man "Worth Keeping" does not include plastic surgery or makeup. The men that are worth keeping see beyond what will not last. They look for women who have developed something more than a hair style. Things like intelligence and character. What are the women who read this book and like it looking for...a long-lasting healthly relationship built on more than grooming or a man to keep them from being lonely? Try reading a book that helps you develop relationships, all relationships, on a solid foundation. To the girl who called a previous reviewee 'ugly' perhaps you should take another look at what qualifies as 'truth' and don't listen to your good friend Lisa anymore.

I beg to differ...  Jul 13, 2006
I totally disagree with the last reviewer. In the words of my good friend Lisa, "she must be ugly". I would think that any book that tells women, `it doesn't matter what you look like, smell like, or act like as long as you love the Lord' is setting a bunch of desperate ugos up for disappointment. Clearly if you were looking at the book, your way DOESN'T WORK. Maybe you should try the way that includes hair, make-up, and bathing. I'm just saying. The book was great, and thanks to Victorya's advice I'm getting married to the man of my dreams in two weeks. This book does help you by telling you what you need to hear (the truth). I'd recommend that any woman that is single run out and buy it immediately!
