Product Description Book 2 in the Thieves & Lovers series. The thief... Though an accomplished bandit and sorcerer, John has learned one thing. In all his centuries of life, he's never been able to steal a woman's heart. Cursed with a "sword" large enough to send them running, he accepts his fate of living out eternity in loneliness. That is, until he meets the stunning Scottish Gypsy, Catriona. Her tortured eyes that match the old wizard Lorcan's Scorpian medallion stare back at Little John. Suddenly the roguish thief becomes the victim, his heart and soul stolen by a single kiss. The gypsy... Branded a witch, Catriona evades King James' attack at the Scottish border, fleeing to England...and finds herself captive to a devilish thief. She has heard the rumors of Robin Hood's outlaws, but she never expects to see much less become one. Snatched by Little John, she finds herself tangled in his web of eroticism right along with Robin and his wife, Lady Salena. But danger still lurks on the horizon, and nothing short of a miracle can prevent her from sacrificing the love and excitement she's found in order to save them all from a vicious king's wrath.

 | A Gypsy's Thief Aug 26, 2008 |
| This book is not as good as the first book in the series. The story could have been more developed and the sex scenes lacked the fire of the first book. | | | | A Gypsy's Thief Jul 10, 2008 |
John Lawton, the famous Little John of Robin Hood fame, is anything but little. Little John has a "sword" so large that it sends many ladies running for cover and the immortal thief has resigned himself to an eternity without a mate.
Gypsy Catriona Graham has the ability to make contact with the dead. Branded a witch, she is fleeing to England to escape a fiery death when she is attacked by King James' men at the Scottish border.
Little John rescues Catriona and heals her wounds. Then he takes her to his castle where she meets another immortal, the famous Robin Hood, known as Falcon and his wife, Salena.
At the castle Catriona learns that sexual energy provides power to the immortals Little John and Falcon and, that sexual energy provided by a foursome provides power beyond belief. When King John's soldiers capture Catriona, Little John must risk his immortal life for the woman that he loves.
Full of great twists and turns A Gypsy's Thief by Titania Ladley provided me with a fascinating look into the life of Little John, the faithful companion of Robin Hood.
Little John is handsome and loyal, willing to do anything for the woman whom he has grown to love. In the highly erotic love scenes, John shows that he cares more for Catriona's feelings than for anything else in life. These touching moments make him a very endearing character. Catriona has lost almost everything to the witch hunts, including her husband and mother. Her fear of Little John being hurt by his association with her, leads to her capture by King James' men. Her reactions to the idea of a foursome feel very real.
Titania Ladley has created a very enjoyable, and highly erotic, Robin Hood series that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat and begging for the next installment...and one of those readers begging for the next book will be me.
