This is the story of a struggle through continuous assaults while having an alcoholic mother who ignored and neglected her child's cries for help. It begins with a seven year old, a victim of sexual assault. I share relationships, dating habits, and a date rape in my twenties, how I met my husband, became a mother, and the struggles I endured with health issues through many surgeries. It also deals with great pain and loss, depression, and how my bipolar disorder went undiagnosed until I was 35. My marriage slowly deteriorated, in the final stages leaving me suicidal, alone, and eventually divorced. I want to share my life story with others so anyone who has been a victim or grew up in a dysfunctional environment will see that they, too, can overcome victimization of a childhood sexual assault, and see that no matter how alone I felt, God's love and protection was and is always with me. *Victory over victimization!*
