 | Baby Next Time Nov 19, 2008 |
| This author has written a fantastic insight to those of us who are not fully aware of what it takes to go on the rollercoaster ride of IVF treatments. A truly recommended easy read on such a hidden subject of infertility and miscarriage as this book made me laugh out loud, cry and indeed experience many different emotions whilst reading this page turning book. I found it very informative and easy to understand the course of treatment involved, as it was explained in layman's terms. Her story covers a nine year period where she was diagnosed at the age of 35 as being under "inexplicable reasons" - unable to have a baby and that the only way forward was to undergo numerous IVF treatments. Eventually after huge loss of money and plenty of heartache, she finds the answers that never seemed possible, especially as she was well into her 40's. I recommend this book to be read before entering the ride of IVF treatments, some of the treatments revealed are accordingly not readily known. It is good in giving out hope to people who are embarking on IVF treatment with recommendations to fire the right questions and in recommending particular treatment in order to avoid unnecessary cost and years of disappointments, which this author endured. An easy and truly recommended read, so much so, you feel sympathetic towards the author who comes across as a friend writing out a diary in order to reveal the ups and down of fertility treatment. | | | Write your own review about Baby Next Time
