I highly recommend this book - a TOP 5 for me - Crucified Love changed my idea of who Christ is. The book helped me better understand the Trinity with Christ at the center of creation. Sr. Delio develops St. Bonaventures view of the crucified Christ as the ultimate expression of the Father's love - "a burning love".
She develops the Trinity from Jesus as the outpouring of the Father's love (the beloved). Through our relationship with Jesus we experience the the Father and the Spirit as well (The Trinity).
An act of love is why Jesus came, not a response due to sin. All things are related to Jesus by their creation by Him and therefore everything moves toward Him and fit perfectly into Him. We are called to be like Jesus sharing His love and therfore co-create with Him until all things return back to Him.
What a loving God we have!
