How was it that he came to leave his home country of Germany to live in Great Britain?Find out how God miraculously transformed one young man's life from selfish and greedy, to courageous and trustworthy. George Muller, The Children's Champion is an enjoyable biography of a well-known man of Christian service. Because the book deals with some mature themes, I would say that it is intended for young people in the 12-14 year age-range. George Muller lived a life of sin in his early years which is somewhat detailed in this book and necessarily so.
The author discusses sin and repentance in a tasteful manner, not glorifying the sin in any way. She writes in such a manner as to convey the fact that the consequences of our sins are not always sudden nor are the consequences always immediate.
The book covers George Muller's childhood, how he had foolishly lived and the circumstances of his becoming a Christian. It chronicles his courtship and marriage and the growth us his and his wife's ministry to orphans.
The book includes topics for further thought and reflection as well as a helpful timeline. | | | Write your own review about George Muller The Children's Champion (Trail Blazers)
