Reviews - What do our customers think?
Book Full of Quotes by Scientists, Evolutionists, etc.  May 8, 2010
All of the reviewers who gave a 1 star, with the exception of 2 of them, make it apparent they did not read the book. I give credit to those 2 who at least actually read the book.

This book really isn't about Ray Comfort's opinions but about questions that are related to evolution and then followed up with answers that are quotes from scientists, evolutionists, professors, authors, etc. I'm not an expert on the subject, I'll stick to theology, but this book gives undeniable answers that refute the theory of evolution right from the mouth of evolutionists and scientists alike. Great book!

Whatever your stance or beliefs, save your money  Mar 26, 2010
Several people have critiqued the content of this book and countless others have spent likely thousands of hours tearing Comfort's arguments apart, so I won't repeat what has already been covered at great length. I read various creationist publications as part of my dissertation research on the evolution-creationism debate in science education (note that I said science education and not a debate in science). My main critique of this book is that Comfort is continuously repeating the same arguments instead of coming up with new material or responding to criticism. There are several people on the pro-creationism curriculum side that do make new arguments, so I don't see the point in funding the publication of an author who is stuck in the same mindset he was at 10 years ago. I'm not sure why the publisher decided to waste resources on this book when the content has already been published, but then they also approved the nonsensical title. (Yes, that was an intend pun.) My advice is to just Google "Ray Comfort" and read his website if you want to read his arguments. It's free and it's the same material in a different format.

On a side note, having studied martial arts for over a decade and read several Taoist texts, "Way of the Master" is a poor choice for creationism movement. Such a name should be reserved for those who make an honest effort at mastery of their minds and bodies, not those who like to showboat.

More of Ray's drivel  Dec 6, 2009
Ray simply refuses to see the evidence staring him in the face. He manipulates the words of the evolutionists he quotes and quote-mines for out of context statements that support his fantasy world.

The last three popes supported evolution. 95% of the scientific community says evolution is an undeniable fact. Ray simply refuses to understand real science and wants to believe in his fairy tale of his god wishing the world into existence out of nothing.

Nothing can comfort me from the worst book I have ever read  Nov 21, 2009
My niece gave me this book to try and convert me from being an anti-theist into a Christian. And for her, I read it with an open mind from cover to cover even though it was exceedingly painful to do so. The style of the book is a series of sections that each contain a question, answer, and in-depth comment. Some of the main problems with the book are that several of the in-depth comments are really pulled out of thin air and not substantiated at all by the question or answer in the same section. So, the whole book comes off preachy and seemingly like Mr. Comfort is making wild assertions. Then there was the repetition, did I say repetition yet? It seemed like the 101 questions could have been slimmed to 10 or 11. This would have saved thousands of trees and the exceedingly painful experience of the multitude of poor readers.

Agile Mental Capacity Required  Oct 27, 2009
The reading and comprehension of this book does requires the reader to have a sufficient degree of Agile Mental Capacity. You cannot be stuck in unproven pseudo-scientific dogma.

The book is clearly written and does not dictate or lecture to its readers what they must conclude. You make up your own mind.

This is in complete contrast to the blind and narrow-mindedness of the lecturing negative reviews posted naturally by blind and narrow-minded fossilized minds who are rooted and stuck to unproven unscientific presuppositions (even long after they have been proven to be invalid by real science).

If you are truly seeking the truth and of an open mind, this is a good read for you to consider.
