Reviews - What do our customers think?
The characters were apart so much and never seemed to have a real affectionate connection that I lost interest  Nov 21, 2009
I think this was a decent book, well-written etc. But I couldn't really get into either of the characters. There wasn't anything in particular that was glaringly bad. I did enjoy the premise of the story and the author's has a vivid imagination but I finally ended up skimming the novel just to finish it and felt a vague sense of disappointment. I think what it could have been was that there is a long section in the beginning when you read about the hero's and heroine's separate stories and it take a while for them to even be together. Then it takes a long time for each of them to care for each other.

Basically the story revolves around the princess in a world where woman rule and men are protected. The norm is that women are the alphas of society. So when a harsh, domineering and alien male comes to their world it throws everything into question especially since they find he is the key to saving their dwindling population. Of course, the hero and heroine clash and it takes a while for them to really appreciate each other.

Interesting storyline. But the characters were apart so much and never seemed to have a real affectionate connection that I lost interest. But the author wrote an earlier book futuristic romance called Celestial Dragon which I loved. I would recommend purchasing that book instead and if you liked it enough then maybe think about this book.
