| Every woman's dream relationship. A man who treats you like royalty, spends time with you & adores you. How was Fatima every able to get that twice? Well the second time she paid for it. I guess after all the misunderstanding it was well worth it in the end. The only thing that didn't fly about this book was the ending; Not enough detail. This was such a cute and feel good story! I love Candice's style of writing and her humor. My only criticism of this book is the ending. Although I loved the way the story ended, it was too abrupt of an ending. I think this book should have had a more detailed conclusion. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, I just didn't want it to end. I would have loved to have had about 2 more scenes to show more development to the ending of the story. I kept checking my book to see if some of the chapters were mistakenly left out at the end. I was thinking man, please don't tell me this book is about to end right now! I loved the characters Rashad and Fatima. I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to know what was going to happen next. You should definitely read this book if you are looking for a really cute romance story. Good job Candice and please keep the stories coming.

I picked this book up in Wal-Mart because I heard an interview this author did and wanted to see what she was working with. Well that night in Wal-Mart I was going to Vegas the next day so I needed something to read on the plane. I was impressed with this story because I gotta tell you after I read the synopsis on the back; I thought the plot was kind of corny. WRONG! Not only was the plot different but it was really good.
I found this book to be very interesting read, wondering can this really happen or have it happened? I can see this as a romantic comedy on the big screen. . . For the first time I read a whole book on a plane ride. The story was very well written, and took off and got straight to the point. It ended kind of predictable but other than that it was a very quick read and I look forward to reading more work from Ms. Dow!

| Fatima went to a new level for love. After being out of the game for a few years and spoiled by the last love, she has taken this romance dating scene to a whole new level. Whoever would think of going to an extreme for companionship, but you know what, if you have the money, you can pretty much buy anything. Meeting Rashad was planned, but not her first desire or choice, the best part of Rashad is that he is a great actor, but even better person. As their relationship progresses you see the faults and the good side to both of them. Mya should have questioned Fatima a little more in their plan to get Fatima back into the game. This story was faced paced and moved in the direction that it could have went a totally different avenue, but the author was true to form and showed us that you can't buy love and you can't predict what is really going to happen. We all have a destiny and you see that with both characters, the supporting characters in the story are great because they are real. Fatima in Alabama, Rashad and Fatima at Mya's engagement party, their co-workers and Rashad's mom all gave balance. I actually can vision a sequel, because truthfully Fatima and Rashad still are not complete, and their is still so much that can be explored. Is Fatima over Derrick, How will Fatima fair with someone as cagey as Rashad and will she be supportive in Hollywood? Questions on top of Questions, Mya there is more to her that being Fatima's friend and in her line of work - is she grounded in her relationship? What about Monique? What is up with her, it seems as if she was flirtacious and then a stick in the mudd. Oh well I enjoyed this storyline and it is one that had not been explored. Fatima Mayo lost love too quickly. Her husband died suddenly and her world came to a stop. But wanting to get back into the dating scene Fatima realizes that it's hard and not fun. So she and her best friend come up with a plan to help Fatima find some happiness.
