 | Great lesson May 11, 2010 |
| I purchased this along with some other Berenstain Bear books. My two boys (4 and 6) ask me to read this book over and over. Especailly my 4 year old. I does a good job of explaining the Golden Rule in terms kids can understand. I just wish there was more than one example, but still, a great book. | | | | The Berenstain Bears Apr 2, 2010 |
Another enchanting story in the series of Berenstain books kids will love. The kind hearted bears in the story teach their cubs the values of family, friends and life itself. They teach to make the right decisions and always do the right thing, love your family, and be true to your friends. There are fantastic illustrations and easy to understand text throughout the book. If you read one you will want to read all of the Berenstains books. | | | | Terrific book. Our niece loves these! Mar 22, 2010 |
| These are great children's books. Topics they enjoy without being heavy or insipid. Intelligent writing for the age bracket. | | | | Great Moral for small children Feb 8, 2010 |
| My 5 year old LOVES books. We read tons of books. This is one of OURS favorite. Some books with a message get in too much detail that they lose a child's attention. This book is very well written. With a clear message. And very affective. My sons loves reading this book over and over again. He is impressed with the "moral of the story" to the point that he tries to practice it. He keeps reminding me and people around him (specially his competition) about the "Golden Rule". Every time he does something questionable, I remind him of it and he stops right there. i think this is one book which has made a real life impact on him. He is actually trying his best to practice what this book preached. Thank you, Bernstains! I wish more children (adults too) read this book and think how would it feel like in other person's shoe. | | | | Beware! Feb 1, 2010 |
| Beware! The Berenstein Bears series is no longer a charming series of books for early readers, but Christian proselytizing. Gone are the delightful tales of the escapades of the Bear family tackling life's dilemmas with solutions kids can understand. Now each story has a Christian message. Note that up in the left hand corner of the cover there is no longer a picture of a bear, but a Living Lights logo and turn to the back cover to see the new Christian mission. | | | Write your own review about Berenstain Bears And The Golden Rule
